Katie Mills Member of Team Going to NCCAA Division II National Championship

The Clearwater Christian College women's soccer team placed second in the South Region Championships held October 27-29, in Clearwater, Florida. Although placing second in the south region, the Lady Cougars will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament on November 9-12 with the at-large bid. The Cougars will be the #4 seed and will face #5 Kentucky Christian College.

Katie Mills of Elizabeth City, NC plays midfielder for the 2011 Cougars. Mills was also named to the First Team All-Region. She is a senior  Biology major at CCC. Mills is a graduate of Victory Baptist School in Elizabeth City, NC. She is the daughter of Scott and Laura Mills of Elizabeth City, NC.
