Kyrene Resel Interns in Haiti

Kyrene Resel of Dixon, Missouri recently returned from a trip to Haiti with a team of students from Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, FL. The eighteen-member team, led by the college's vice-president for academic affairs Dr. Mary Draper and her husband Richard, spent ten days assisting the staff of the EBAC Christian Academy and Orphanage in Cap Haitien, Haiti.

EBAC Christian Academy and Orphanage is home to nearly 100 orphans. During their stay, team members aided classroom teachers, substitute taught classes, tutored students one-on-one, conducted daily chapel services and an afternoon VBS program, and completed minor maintenance projects around the campus. Resel is a freshman communications major at Clearwater Christian and the daughter of Steve and Kim Resel of Dixon, MO.

Located on a 138-acre property on Tampa Bay, Clearwater Christian College is home to over 600 undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a distinct Christian education in a traditional liberal arts environment. Clearwater Christian College is recognized by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
